Administration Condemns 'Democrat Hoax' as More Epstein Estate Photos Disclosed
House Democrats have made public a fresh batch of what they described as "troubling" images from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, featuring notably Donald Trump, Bill Clinton, and former British royal Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
The first release of 19 images—some of which have been previously circulated—plus another 70 issued later on Friday account for a small number of the nearly 100,000 images provided to the House investigative panel, which is probing the actions and ties of Epstein.
The fallen money manager was a victim of apparent suicide in a New York jail cell in 2019 after being indicted on sex-trafficking offenses.
Prominent Personalities in the Photos
Included in the notable figures visible in the first release are celebrities such as film director Woody Allen; Microsoft creator Bill Gates; and Richard Branson, creator of the Virgin empire.
Donald Trump is pictured in three of the first nineteen images. In one, he is seen with six women, whose faces are redacted.
Administration Reaction
The White House responded to the release in a official comment, alleging Democrats of purposefully "cherry-picking" the images for political purposes and to "attempt to fabricate a false narrative."
"This Democratic fabrication against President Trump has been repeatedly debunked," an administration official stated, maintaining that "the current government has accomplished more for Epstein's victims than Democrats have at any point by consistently demanding transparency, releasing reams of records, and calling for further investigations into Epstein's Democratic associates."
Panel Member Remarks
The images were released devoid of explanation, but as stated by a Democratic representative from California and senior member of the oversight committee, they raise more questions about Epstein's connections to affluent people.
"The moment has come to stop this White House cover-up and bring justice to the survivors of Jeffrey Epstein and his powerful friends," he declared in a comment.
The publication of these materials coincides with the oversight committee proceeding with its inquiry into the Epstein case.
