Ex- Doctor Charged with Sexual Assault Charges Against 38 Individuals in His Care
Prosecutors have stated that a former doctor now faces charges for carrying out assaults involving thirty-eight victims who were patients.
Details of the Grave Allegations
The accused, Nathaniel Spencer from Birmingham has been charged with dozens of acts of sexual assault – comprising some against children younger than 13 – between 2017 to 2021.
One deputy chief CPS official said, “Our prosecutors have diligently worked to support a thorough and intricate investigation, carefully reviewing the available evidence to establish that there is sufficient evidence to proceed to trial and that it is in the public interest.”
The Investigation
These allegations follow what police called a “detailed inquiry” into alleged sexual offences at medical facilities: the Royal Stoke university hospital and a facility in Dudley.
Spencer will appear at the North Staffordshire justice centre on January 20th.

The charging documents outline the 45 charges he is charged with:
- Fifteen counts of sexual assault.
- Seventeen counts of penetrative assault.
- Nine counts of sexual assault of a child under 13.
- Three counts of penetrative assault on a child under thirteen.
- 1 count of attempting to assault by penetration.
