The Congressional oversight panel has released a batch of roughly 70 photographs from the estate of former convicted individual convicted of sex crimes Jeffrey Epstein.

This marks the third release from a cache of in excess of 95,000 images the body has secured from Epstein's estate. It includes pictures of excerpts from the literary work Lolita inscribed across a female's body, and obscured photos of female international passports.

This action arrives mere hours before the December 19th deadline for the DOJ to make public all files associated with its investigation into Epstein.

"These new photos pose further inquiries about what exactly the Justice Department has in its holdings," stated the ranking member of the panel, Robert Garcia.

What is in the Photographs Disclosed

Several of the images released on this week depict Epstein in discussion with professor and activist Noam Chomsky aboard a private jet; Bill Gates standing alongside a woman whose face is censored; Steve Bannon positioned at a workstation opposite Epstein, and former Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner gathering.

These are the latest wealthy, prominent men to be photographed in Epstein property photos released by the House Oversight Committee - previously released pictures also show US President Donald Trump and former president Bill Clinton, as well as movie director Woody Allen, ex- US Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and others.

Showing up in the photos is does not constitute indication of any misconduct, and several of the pictured figures have stated they were never implicated in Epstein's criminal activity.

In a announcement released with the photograph disclosure, Democratic members on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein property holders did not supply context or timings for the photographs.

"Images were picked to offer the public with openness into a representative sample of the photographs obtained from the estate, and to offer understanding into Epstein's network and his extremely disturbing behavior," the announcement states.

The publication also includes multiple images of passages from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita inscribed in black ink across different parts of a female's body, like her chest, feet, pelvis, and spine. Lolita narrates the account of a young girl who was exploited by a older literature professor.

One passage from the book inscribed across a woman's chest says, "Lo-lee-ta: the point of the tongue taking a trip of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a series of photos of female identification and official papers from countries worldwide, such as Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

A large portion of the data on the IDs, such as names and DOBs, is censored but the House Oversight Committee indicated in a statement that the travel documents belong to "women whom Jeffrey Epstein and his associates were involved with".

A further photograph depicts Epstein positioned at a desk closely in the company of three women whose features have been censored - one individual has her hand on Epstein's chest under his shirt, and another is leaning to view a close-by laptop. Epstein seems to be assisting the third individual attach a wristband.

A further image disclosed is a capture of text messages from an unnamed sender who states they have been provided "several females" and are asking for "$$1,000 per female".

Photograph Publication Arrives Ahead of DOJ Deadline

The panel has many thousands of images in its holdings from the Epstein holdings, which are "simultaneously explicit and ordinary," its press release on recently explained.

The oversight panel first issued a subpoena to the estate of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York correctional facility in 2019 while pending legal proceedings on allegations of sex trafficking crimes, in August.

The images and files the Epstein estate gave to the panel are different than what is largely termed "the Epstein documents". That material are documents in the Department of Justice's custody related to its own inquiry into Epstein.

Under the Epstein Files Transparency Act, which President Trump enacted last month, the DOJ has until the date of 19 December to publish its documents. The full nature of what's included in the DOJ's records is unclear, and it's probable that much of the information will be extensively redacted, akin to the committee's materials
